Team Preview: Sycamore

The expectations are high coming off a 24-win season for Sycamore, and they are returning some of their key pieces. At the top of that list is 6-foot-4 senior guard Isaiah Feuerbach (16 ppg, 6 rpg, 2 spg), who was a standout last season. He unfortunately missed both spring and summer AAU following surgery, but was set to play on the 3SSB circuit with Breakaway. When healthy, Feuerbach has legitimate length and shooting ability that he uses well to impact the game on both ends. College coaches could really get a steal with Feuerbach, who displays some upside as a scholarship-level player at full strength.

Sycamore also got a big addition with Genoa Kingston transfer Marcus Johnson (18 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 3 spg), a dynamic scoring guard who can create off the bounce. He will also continue to attract the attention of college coaches in the Midwest. They also have defensive stalwart Xander Lewis back, after averaging seven points and a pair of steals as a sophomore. He brings energy and grit out of the backcourt for a team that will lean on its guard play.

Prospects To Watch:

2026 Isiaah Feuerbach (6’4)

2026 Marcus Johnson (6’1)

2027 Xander Lewis (5’9)
