175+ Prospects To Watch At the Riverside Brookfield Live Event

Ahead of the live period starting tomorrow, we are highlighting some of the prospects to watch at some of the big events. Riverside Brookfield will be loaded with talent once again this year. We are providing short snippets (rather than full-length write-ups) on all 175-plus players noted here.

This is far from an all-inclusive list, but it has some of the notable players to keep an eye on this weekend at RB. These are all grouped by school in alphabetical order of the name, but a quick CTRL + F may save you some time to find what you’re looking for.

Alton

2026 Semaj Stampley (6’1 G) – a good combination of speed, explosiveness, and perimeter shooting as a combo guard. Among the best pure shooters in the state with plus on-ball defense

2027 Ryan Howard (6’3 F) – versatile wing for Alton who emerged as a sophomore. Can hit spot-ups or drive closeouts with his size

Barrington

2026 Oliver Gray (6’6 G) – top-end three-point shooter and perimeter scorer with great positional length. Coming off a solid spring with the Illinois Wolves

2028 Tommy Hills (6’3 G) – promising transfer brings physical strength, athleticism, and production on both ends. Shutdown defender who can score in bunches and make plays off of his drives

Batavia

2026 Xavier Justice (5’11 G) – smart, heady point guard is going to be the orchestrator for Batavia this year while giving them timely scoring

2026 Evan Blankenship (6’6 F) – athletic frontcourt piece is raw, but has shown glimpses as a rim runner, rebounder, and interior defender

2027 Dane Farrar (6’1 G) – strong guard that can shoot it and defend. Going to have a breakout junior year

Benet

2026 Colin Stack (7’0 C) – the top center prospect in the state with three-point range, passing ability, rebounding prowess, and high-level rim protection

2026 Jayden Wright (6’0 G) – high-IQ three-point threat who has serious range. Will take another big step in his third varsity season

2026 Ethan MacDermot (6’3 G) – transfer from Australia has a slick handle, body control as a finisher, and solid mechanics from the perimeter. Big guard will open eyes over the next two weekends

2026 Ryan Walsh (6’3 G) – well-built specialist who can open up games as a three-point shooter

2026 Aidan Renicker (6’2 G) – another promising outside shooter with a good understanding for how to stretch the floor and make plays within the flow of the offense

2026 Jack Reiser (6’3 G) – hard-nosed guard who does a lot of the little things. Can also hit the open three and defend on the wing with his strength

2027 Ed Stasys (6’7 F) – evident upside with his mobility, touch, and intensity. Seemed to take a big step over the spring after playing a complementary role last year. Talented, emerging face-up forward

Bloom

2026 Amare Pryor (6’0 G) – lefty guard does a nice job of scoring off of the dribble in a variety of ways. Tough shot maker

2027 Xavier Martin (6’5 F) – a rising forward prospect with a huge wingspan and innate instincts as a rebounder and rim protector. Has a nose for the ball to match his athleticism

Bolingbrook

2026 Trey Brost (6’0 G) – defensive-minded, pass-first point guard contributes to winning in several ways. Capable three-point shooter who does a nice job getting to the rim

2026 TJ Williams (6’3 G) – transfer who brings length defensively and some scoring punch as a pull-up shooter and downhill driver

2026 Jayden Madden (6’9 C) – rim-protecting big man is going to have a breakout senior year. Runs the floor well and can finish off rolls and dump offs

2028 Brady Pettigrew (6’3 G) – very talented two-guard has taken big steps over the last few months. Was a standout defender as a freshman and has the physical tools, ball-handling ability, and shooting tact to fill it up offensively

Brother Rice

2026 Joe Niego (6’7 F) – will be a standout for Rice. Tall, highly-skilled forward can score on the block, hit a high percentage of threes, or attack from the perimeter. Added muscle and physicality have been a big boost

2027 Coy Workman (6’4 F) – skilled forward is just scratching the surface. Long arms and activity show up defensively

2027 Uriah Davis (6’0 G) – will break out for HF this year. Nifty ball-handler and passer with a good understanding of space creation

Curie

2026 Justin Oliver (6’1 G) – was among the best guards in Chicago last year. Gifted, creative finisher and ball-handler who turns defense into offense

2026 Mike Oliver (6’0 G) – long-range shooting threat had a nice spring and could be in for another big jump as a senior

De La Salle

2026 Lucas Johnson (6’3 G) – springy athlete is a defensive playmaker and productive slasher who could be the top option for De La Salle this year

Deerfield

2026 Jake Pollack (6’10 F) – Dartmouth commit. Scores off of face-ups, deep paint touches, and out in transition. Excellent rebounder and interior defender

2026 Evan Nagler (6’3 G) – all-conference guard is a proficient outside shooter both from three and from the mid-range area. Slick passer who has above-average length

2027 Tommy Donahue (6’4 G) – will be one of the better defenders in the CSL and adds value as a cutter, slasher, and timely spot-up shooter

DePaul Prep

2026 Rashaun Porter (6’6 F) – interior force who is the best four man in the state right now. Powerful lefty pushes in transition, scores in crowds, and has become a much better perimeter shooter. Has an elite motor on both ends

2026 Rykan Woo (6’1 G) – a 50/40/90 type of shooter who makes good decisions as a playmaker. Capable of playing on or off the ball. Looks to build off of a productive spring

2026 AJ Chambers (6’0 G) – continues to be a winner on both ends who can dictate tempo, shut down opposing ball-handlers, and score when needed

2026 Zion Lee (6’5 F) – an impact transfer will add length and activity to the defensive-minded Rams

2027 Magnus Johnson (6’7 F) – pick-and-pop four man who has a decent physical runway at this stage

2028 Blake Choice (6’3 G) – promising young guard has glimpses of excellence as a creator and driver. Has the physical tools to be a difference-maker on the defensive end

Downers Grove North

2027 Colin Doyle (6’7 F) – strong, athletic forward is relentless as a rebounder with touch in the paint and range out to the three-point line. Big-time baseball prospect

2028 Connor Crowley (6’2 G) – well-built sophomore guard shoots it off the catch and shows toughness while defending and attacking in space

Downers Grove South

2026 Adam Flowers (6’3 G) – broke out as a junior with an effortless scoring ability. Generates looks in space and is a productive pull-up scorer

2026 Sean Day (6’4 G) – lanky wing shooter continues to progress. Covers ground well defensively and is a budding athlete

2026 Erik Vagonis (6’6 F) – big man moves fairly well and challenges shots around the rim inside. Creates second chances and converts looks in the paint

East St. Louis

2026 Jahadi White Jr. (6’8 C) – highly-regarded big man with soft hands and a mean streak as a finisher. Very good rebounder on both ends and capable of walling up defensively with his leaping ability

2026 Jamison White (6’7 F) – active forward can run the wings or rim run. Has mobility in space to defend and put it on the ground. Decent outside shooter as well

2027 Tyrik Barnes (6’6 F) – long, rangy forward brings constant energy on both ends. Good timing as a shot blocker with agility on the wing. Solid slasher with some post game

Evanston

2027 Vito Rocca (6’5 F) – physical, athletic wing has become a productive three-point shooter to complement his rebounding, versatile defense, and toughness. Will have a big leap as a junior.

2028 Ben Ojala (6’2 G) – shifty point guard had a nice freshman season and could be one of the best players in the area this year. Highly skilled shot-maker and playmaker who guards

Fenwick

2027 Jimmy Watts (6’3 G) – displays the type of grit and relentlessness that you look for in a wing. Steady shooter and a hard cutter who will be tasked to do more this year

Fremd

2026 Jordan Williams (6’6 G/F) – a tremendous all-around weapon on the wing who can play the point, get to the rim off the bounce, invert with post-ups, and connect on jumpers. Strong defender with a college-ready frame

2026 Tommy Moffett (6’5 F) – Tall wing guards two through four with active hands. Will show aggressiveness scoring on straight-line drives, pull-ups, and in transition. Does so many little things well

2026 Rafael Pinto (6’5 G) – instant offense as a three-point scorer and mid-range threat with the size you look for at the two-guard spot

Glenbard East

2026 Mike Nee (6’3 G) – the best overall shooter in the state with the production to match. Four-year starter is a winner with a strong build and understands how to create space with or without the ball

2026 Danny Snyder (6’0 G) – lefty shooter has a great frame to play through contact on his drives and guard both backcourt spots. A winner who was an all-conference player last year

2026 Jacob Marynowski (6’3 F) – inside-out forward finds ways to score despite lacking some size. High-motor kid who rebounds in crowds

2026 Kaydin Williams (6’2 G) – a big transfer addition who handles pressure well, beats defenders off of the bounce, and produces as a shooter and crafty finisher. Well-rounded combo guard

Glenbard North

2026 Matt Welch (6’4 F) – three-point shooter who has some strength and confidence stepping into shots from the volleyball line

2027 Lamari Carpenter (6’5 G) – talented guard prospect was excellent this spring and has the length, athleticism, and on-ball skills to be a dynamic scorer from the wing

2027 Oturo Redento (6’5 F) – wing/forward who plays bigger than his listed height with his anticipation and length. Can handle the ball a bit, score in traffic, and hit the occasional jumper

Glenbard West

2026 Josh Abushanab (6’5 G) – will be one of the best players in the West Suburban this year. Rangy guard can play the point, facilitate in the offense, and cause havoc on the defensive end. A solid shot-maker as well who is a great teammate and leader

2026 Chase Cavan (6’1 G) – dual-sport athlete is a hard-nosed guard who plays with an edge. Great physical strength to defend bigger players and the ability to hit open shots from the perimeter

2027 Bennett Kammes (6’2 G) – a growing, rising guard who can shoot the lights out from three. Has the length and shot-making ability to catch some attention in his first varsity season

Glenbrook South

2027 Jacob Fuller (6’8 F) – face-up forward makes his mark as a deadeye three-point shooter with size. Should continue to get stronger and use his smooth perimeter game

Hersey

2026 Charlie Pomis (6’3 G) – quick-twitch guard emerged as a high-level two-way player as a junior. High-flyer in transition has great body control on his drives. Solid three-point shooter who really guards defensively

2026 Logan Luxem (6’3 G) – taller point guard prospect seems to make the right plays consistently with the ball. Plus vision and length aid him on both ends

2027 Jake Nawrot (6’4 G) – instinctual, athletic guard with size and skill as an offensive connector and scorer. Plays with an elite motor and rebounds in traffic. Standout quarterback prospect should also be a breakout player on the court this year

2027 Tristan Trotter (6’4 G/F) – wing with a good frame and shooting ability with range. Will also have added responsibilities as a junior

Hillcrest

2026 Jayquan Ratliff (6’0 G) – creative guard who can produce in one-on-one situations consistently and operate in space well

Hinsdale Central

2026 Cole Berto (6’2 G) – a key returner for the Red Devils. Shoots the three well and makes an impact as an off-ball mover and active defender

Homewood Flossmoor

2028 Darrius Hawkins (5’10 G) – high-IQ, shifty guard who gets where he wants with the ball and makes tough plays look routine. Talented ball-handler who hits shots in rhythm and finishes in crowds. Also a very good point of attack defender

2028 John Brown (6’7 F) – an athletic, long-armed forward who is progressing well. Plus rim protector and rim runner who has shown some face-up game

Hyde Park

2026 Kye Ward-Owens (6’5 G) – big wing is a Swiss-Army knife who will be a primary option for Hyde Park

Joliet West

2026 Mickeis Johnson (6’3 G) – explosive, physical guard who prioritizes making winning plays. Active cutter and slasher who rebounds more like a frontcourt player

2026 Aamir Shannon (6’4 G) – guard who gets to the rim well and has serious bounce once he gets there. Shows a feel for his pull-up as well

2026 Ryan Lipke (6’6 F) – transfer from Providence who is an excellent leaper around the rim who provides value as a lob threat and dump off finisher

2026 Luke Grevengoed (6’3 G) – multi-year varsity player with decent length, toughness, and shooting ability from the perimeter

Kaneland

2026 Marshawn Cocroft (6’0 G) – an All-State point guard can get to the rim at will, shoot from out to the college line, and create turnovers defensively. Quality PG prospect

2026 Evan Frieders (6’5 G) – versatile guard/wing acts as a secondary playmaker and scoring threat for Kaneland. Length and fluidity help him score inside of 15 feet

2027 Jeffrey Hassan (6’9 C) – projectable big man is a big-time lob threat and rim protector who is still putting all of the tools together. A ton of upside

Kankakee

2026 Lincoln Williams (6’6 G) – the best prospect in the senior class right now coming off of an All-State season. Elite length, athleticism, and ability to do multiple things on the floor. Shoots it well, finishes in traffic, guards all over the floor, and can set up teammates

2026 EJ Hazelett (6’6 G/F) – a huge transfer addition. Lefty wing has a great frame to add weight to complement a nice slashing game with the ability to hit pull-ups and catch-and-shoot looks. An ideal physical profile as a next-level defender

2026 Myair Thompson (5’10 G) – emerged as a junior as a spark plug point guard who provided instant offense. Fearless scorer from multiple spots

Kenwood Academy

2027 Damari Stephens (6’5 G/F) – physical, athletic guard could be the go-to guy for Kenwood. A freight train when getting to the rim with good footwork and balance off the bounce

Lake Forest

2026 Dom Mordini (6’5 G) – lanky guard who does so many things well. Slick ball-handler can shoot it from three and score off of drives, post-ups, and mid-range looks. Frame should continue to add weight

2027 Rory Haas (6’6 F) – a rising face-up forward should open a lot of eyes in the North Suburban. Hard-working four man shoots it at a high clip from three and has added muscle

Lake Park

2026 Freddy Battaglia (6’4 F) – wing who can play inside or out. Runs the floor hard, can hit threes and dribble pull-ups, and plays with a big-time motor defensively. Very good interior footwork and patience

2026 Luca Stella (6’4 G) – rangy guard has great feel inside of 15-feet with a polished mid-range game. Capable three-point shooter who can play on or off the ball

2028 Brennan Shannon (6’7 F) – developing big man should come into his own this year. Tall, big-framed lefty is a good shooter at his size

Lane Tech

2026 Matthew Szafoni (6’8 F) – Multi-purpose forward defends multiple spots, shoots the three well, handles in space, and is a good passer. Will carry a heavy load for the Champions.

Lemont

2026 Gabe Sularski (6’6 G) – highly-skilled guard has really committed to being a plus defensively. Has very good vision as a passer and can create out of ball screens. Causes mismatches at his size

2026 Zane Schneider (6’3 G) – multi-sport, four-year guard is competitive and scrappy on both ends. Showed well during the spring as a timely scorer and defender

Leo

2027 Asa Harris (5’10 G) – scoring guard made an immediate impact as a transfer last year. Gets downhill well and has a good finishing package inside

Libertyville

2026 Bryce Wegrzyn (6’8 F) – skilled forward can take over games on the block, from the high post, or as a rebounder. Very soft touch and a high-level three-point shooter at his size with the ability to attack off the dribble

2028 Terrence Davis (6’2 G) – cerebral, explosive guard flashed a ton of talent as a freshman. Gets into the lane, makes the right plays, and knocks down perimeter shots when given space. Very impactful as a defender in space

Lincoln Park

2026 Ahmad Lee (6’3 G) – smooth, pull-up shooter will be one of the better guards in Chicago again. Gets off the ground well and can make acrobatic layups inside

2028 Alvin Robinson (6’4 G) – wing scorer can shoot it well and defend his position. A ton of physical potential with his length and athleticism

Lockport

2027 Nedas Venckus (6’3 G) – an emerging guard gets to his spots, his tough pull-ups, and has a good all-around skillset in the backcourt. Recovers well defensively

2027 Nojus Venckus (6’3 G) – scoring guard forms a great duo with his brother. Quick-twitch, long perimeter option who plays at or above the rim and can get hot from three

Loyola Academy

2026 Trey Williams (6’3 G) – a standout defender, passer, and playmaker continuously makes winning plays. Physically strong and athletic kid who rebounds well at his position and scores as needed

2027 Luke Alvarez (6’1 G) – a leading three-point shooter and charge-taker last year set to have a larger role. Acts as an additional ball-handler and tenacious defender

Lyons

2027 Timmy Sloan (6’5 G) – promising long-term point guard with great length, vision, and versatility. Gets guys open shots while getting tips defensively and draining jumpers with good elevation. Advanced maturity at this stage

2027 Nate Woods (6’5 G) – lanky swingman’s game continues to evolve as a shooter and playmaker. Crisp ball-handler at his size with a three-point stroke and aggressiveness getting inside. Arrow continues to point up

2027 Byron Walton (6’2 G) – rangy guard prospect is a standout defensively and was a primary option for Streamwood last year. A long-stride driver who can hit pull-ups or finish around the help

2028 Grant Smith (6’6 G) – one of the best sophomores in the state has athleticism, inside-out skill, size, and a genuine motor. Gets to the paint and can rise up over defenders. Shows physicality and focus on the defensive end

MacArthur

2026 Sean Lee (6’5 SG) – big-bodied guard is a strong downhill driver, solid shooter, and blossoming two-way player who can dominate games at times

Maine South

2026 Panayiotis Sotos (6’2 G) – defensive-minded guard shoots the three and uses his frame well on both ends. Four-year varsity player

2026 Rico D’Alessandro (6’5 F) – two-sport standout is a terrific athlete with a college-ready frame and relentless mentality as a rebounder, defender, and basket-attacker. Among the most imposing players in the CSL last year

2026 Sasha Matushevskiy (6’5 F) – active frontcourt piece will have an elevated role this year. Plus athlete runs the floor hard, rebounds, and challenges shots inside

Marian Catholic

2027 Landon Mays (6’5 F) – steps into a lead role as a low-post scoring threat who has shown the ability to step outside and hit spot-up shots

Marist

2026 Stephen Brown (6’7 F) – fluid athlete with potential as an elite, switchable defender and straight-line driver who can make open shots from the perimeter. A serious college prospect in football as well

2026 Karson Thomas (6’4 G) – put together a strong spring showing his mid-range game and physical frame as a wing defender. Should have another good year after transferring in last year

2026 TJ Tate (6’0 G) – shifty guard picks his spots and knows how to add value as a primary ball-handler or off-ball cutter and spacer

2026 Adoni Vassiliakis (6’0 G) – defensive-minded guard is a strong kid who holds his position and makes good decisions as a passer

2026 Charles Barnes (6’6 G) – big-time transfer for Marist after being one of the more promising Catholic League players last year. Lefty wing can go on tears as a spot-up shooter or be a point forward depending on the need

2027 Kendall Myers (6’5 G) – one of the winners of the spring. A force as a driver and finisher with good ball skills at his size and age. A stout defender and capable standstill shooter

McHenry

2026 Adam Anwar (6’7 F) – stretch forward continues to add interest as an effective three-point shooter with a polished mid-post game

Metea Valley

2026 Tre Watkins (6’3 G) – mid-range scorer who has quick-twitch athleticism and natural scoring instincts. A returning all-conference player

2027 Manny Miller (5’11 G) – smart lead guard keeps his dribble alive and makes plays for others. Can score off kick outs or with floaters in the lane

2028 Sincere Williams (6’7 F) – active forward has nice upside with his athleticism and frame. Will look to put all of the pieces together

Mount Carmel

2026 Noah Mister (6’1 G) – dynamic ball-handler and scoring guard who can create his own shot on command. Deep range and good change-of-pace

2026 George Gray (6’4 G) – wiry, slashing guard could have a big senior year as a transition threat and straight-line driver. Very good athlete

2026 Luke Segroves (6’6 F) – long forward who can step out to hit threes and use his wingspan on the defensive end or to pull in rebounds. Will have a larger role this year

2029 Dakylen Heard (6’4 G) – one of the more highly-regarded freshmen. Athletic and aggressive two-guard can hit tough shots off the dribble and play in crowds. Has a chance to be really good

Neuqua Valley

2027 Mason Martin (6’5 G) – lanky two-guard is one of the purest three-point shooters in the class. Doesn’t need space to get shots off and has a one-to-two dribble pull-up to counter

2028 Cole Kelly (6’7 G/F) – the top sophomore in the state has impressed to start the summer. High-level rebounder and multi-level shot-maker has improved his handle and athleticism since last year. Contributes across the board as a passer and defender

New Trier

2026 Chris Kirkpatrick (6’3 G) – missing some time with an injury. One of the top overall prospects and PGs in the senior class was terrific during the spring. Advanced ball-handler and three-point shooter who has a college-ready game as a scorer. Plus defender who takes pride in getting stops and rebounding in traffic

2026 Danny Houlihan (6’4 G) – lefty sniper is a next-level specialist as a three-point shooter. Runs off screens well and is nearly automatic on catch-and-shoots

2026 Max Vogel (6’4 G) – smart guard with great positional size and attention to detail. Competes defensively, led the team in three-point percentage, and makes plays for others in the flow of the offense

2027 Elton Jaegerskog (6’4 G) – physical, aggressive wing who could have a breakout year for the Trevians. High-impact defender who can get to the rim off the dribble, rebound in traffic, and shoot it with time. Good upside and two-way production

2027 Matthew Logue (6’4 F) – very active and lanky forward who can change games as a rebounder and versatile defender. Near 7-foot wingspan and good mobility to switch across multiple positions

2029 Denym Wallace (6’7 F) – the most impressive incoming freshman and best prospect at this point that I’ve seen. Legitimate size, athleticism, and skill. Can stretch the floor or run to the rim for duck-ins where he has good footwork. Plays with a joy and unselfishness that is infectious

Niles North

2026 Mustaf Rexhipi (6’4 F) – the top returner from an impressive group last year. Physical combo forward plays with a chip and can act as a playmaker, cutter, post-up option, or driver

Notre Dame

2029 Emran Alispahic (6’5 F) – face-up forward has impressive skill as a ball-handler and shooter at this stage of his development. Plus athlete who has a good feel. Should be a special player for the Dons

O’Fallon

2026 Ben Akoro (6’8 F) – clear talent as a playmaking forward who can grab-and-go or work on the wing in one-on-one situations. Had a good spring showing off his versatility

Oak Lawn

2026 Jack Dempsey (6’3 G) – a returning all-conference player who could be in for another big jump in production. Tough kid who can shoot the three and attack closeouts

Oswego East

2026 Mason Lockett (6’5 G) – among the best players in the senior class. Plays at his pace at the point guard spot with ideal size and good shooting ability from the perimeter or around 15-to-17 feet. Long arms and lateral quickness show up defensively

2027 Dshaun Bolden (6’3 G) – first-year varsity guard will open eyes. Crazy wingspan and high-IQ give him an edge as a shutdown defender and finisher in crowds. Capable secondary playmaker

Oswego

2028 Ethan Vahl (6’2 G) – coming off of a great freshman season and has gotten taller. Gifted passer and playmaker who can go on scoring tears as a shooter and dribble-driver. Very savvy guard is one of the top sophomores in the class

Peoria Richwoods

2028 Amarion Smith-Holley (6’0 G) – put together a great spring as a shot-creator. One of the higher-scoring freshmen a year ago has that innate feel for getting buckets

2028 Anfernee Moore (6’3 G/F) – Taller guard is able to play on the wing or inside with how well he cuts and plays through contact. Effective in dump offs and has athleticism that will translate

Perspectives Leadership

2026 Ian Flowers (6’4 G) – scoring guard transferred in and should be an immediate impact. Has good lift on his jumper but looks best putting pressure on the rim

2026 Morgan Travis (6’2 G) – solid ball-handler and pull-up shooter came over this summer. Quick off the bounce with a first-step that should play well in the Chicago Public League. Three-point range is a plus

Rich Township

2026 Jayden Williams (6’3 G) – a knockdown shooter with a clean stroke from the outside. Delivers off movement or standstill and has a polished pull-up game. Should continue to build off of a big junior season

2028 Jeremiah Weatherford  (6’2 G) – high-flyer who will have big expectations this year after seeing some time as a freshman. Excellent athlete who wins one-on-one situations on both ends and is hard to stop with a head of steam

Riverside Brookfield

2026 Cam Mercer (6’3 G) – took a big step as a junior and should be an All-State type of player this year. Strong defender who is unselfish offensively but has the ability to take over games when needed. Reliable three-point shooter and good driver off the bounce

2026 Colin Cimino (6’6 F) – continues to trend up as a high-energy forward with three-point range and good defensive instincts. Runs the floor hard, rebounds, and finishes possessions in traffic

Rock Island

2026 Lawson Zulu (6’0 G) – defensive-minded guard who can also score in bulk in space. Was an all-conference player last year, using his quickness to affect games

2026 Aris Morgan (6’7 F) – rim-running forward does the dirty work inside as an athletic finisher, stout rim protector, and rebounder

2027 Deven Marshall (6’1 G) – took a step forward over the spring. Wiry scoring guard drives well and continues to show signs of tapping into his athletic potential

2027 Arthur Abbey (5’10 G) – a notable transfer who had a big year at Moline. Very quick off the bounce with a nose for scoring on the move and finding teammates in transition

2026 Amir Danforth (6’0 G) – North Dakota State recruit. Electric shot maker who is able to generate offense in a hurry from multiple spots

2026 Champ Parker (5’10 G) – four-year guard is a productive scorer in his own right. Applies tough on-ball pressure defensively and weaves into the lane well to find openings

Rolling Meadows

2026 Kenan Pekovic (6’4 F) – will have an amplified role this year after playing for a sectional championship team. Bruising forward works inside of 15 feet well and can be an effective high-post passer

Romeoville

2026 Tim Winkler (6’10 C) – transferred back into the state. Has impressive tools as a ball-handler with some range as a shooter. High upside if he can put it all together

2026 Daylyn Porter (6’5 F) – plus athlete on the wing who can play either forward spot if needed. Puts it on the ground well and projects as a quality defender

2027 Jamarri Fears (6’0 G) – athletic guard played good minutes as a sophomore and should have more responsibility as a junior. Added muscle and has good feel as a distributor and dribble penetrator

Saint Ignatius

2026 Chris Bolte (6’6 F) – a big-time wing for Ignatius. Very good shooter who attacks rebounds, collapses the defense off the dribble in straight lines, and defends with an edge. Elite intangibles as a teammate and worker

2026 Nico Harris (6’0 G) – excellent on-ball defender who can take other top options out of their game. Can play the point or work off of the ball where he is a capable three-point shooter. Plays with a ton of energy

2028 DJ Caldwell (6’4 G) – a developing guard with good skills and great length at this point. Knifes to the rim well to his strong hand and is a solid spot-up shooter with time and space. Could make his mark defensively

Schaumburg

2026 Cam Anderson (6’6 F) – expected to take a big jump as a senior. Freak athlete with soft touch and magnetic hands as a rebounder. Runs the floor hard and projects as a plus defender

Simeon

2026 Kassidy Nelson (6’5 G) – steps into a lead role with their departures. Uses strong frame to stay in front of the ball defensively and wears multiple hats offensively. Impressive dual-sport athlete

St. Laurence

2027 Reggie Stevens (6’3 G) – scoring guard had nice moments as a sixth man last year on a senior-heavy team. Good stop-and-pop game with some ball skills and length to project out to the next level

2027 Markese Peoples (6’2 G) – power guard who can bully smaller defenders and make plays as a secondary playmaker

2028 Noah Corro (6’1 G) – shifty ball-handler with deep three-point range and high IQ. Gets after it defensively and has advanced footwork on both ends. Will break out in his first full varsity season

2028 Jeremiah Tomey (6’2 G) – growing guard has the frame and scoring instincts to be a productive player for years to come. Strong decision maker out of the triple threat with multiple ways to put up points

St. Patrick

2026 RJ McPartlin (6’7 F) – productive forward is a double-double threat for St. Pats. Battles inside for rebounds, finishes through contact, and is a plus athlete once he gets a running start. Promising touch to complement his energy and frame

Stevenson

2026 Donovan Williams (6’0 G) – point guard with serious speed and bounce to finish against size inside. Hits open shots and affects games with his on-ball defense

2026 Rocco Pagliocca (6’2 G) – rangy guard can play either guard spot. Four-year player has a tight handle, shoots past the college line, and can guard in space

Thornton

2027 Jeremy Blanco-Rios (6’0 G) – fast, up-tempo guard made an impression after transferring in last year. Pushes the pace and puts constant pressure on the rim. Also an energetic individual defender for Thornton

2028 DeAndre Higgs (6’1 G) – took on a heavy role as a freshman. Good frame and natural ability to get by his defender and contort his body inside to find finishing angles. Will be a good one for Thornton the next few years

Walter Payton

2026 Patrick Irvin (6’5 F) – emerged as one of the better forwards in the Chicago Public League last year. A highly active and well-rounded senior can drive closeouts, pull in double-digit rebounds, and power up for layups in crowds

2026 Keller McGovern (5’11 G) – steady point guard works best as a play initiator who can hit threes and get into the paint at times

2028 CJ Pittman (6’0 G) – physically mature guard doesn’t play like an underclassman. Sees the floor well, hits big shots in big moments, and finds ways to impact the game with his penetration, shooting, and defense

Waubonsie Valley

2027 Kris Mporokoso (6’4 G) – long-armed lefty continues to look like a nice long-term prospect on the wing. Playing with more assertiveness around the rim while still hitting a good percentage of his threes. Guards the ball well on the wing

2028 Kyler Payne (6’7 F) – an ever-growing four man with good touch and face-up ability. Great frame to build on with comfort scoring off of bumps inside

Waukegan

2026 Jaali Love (6’7 F) – a forward who can flex to different roles to impact winning. Handles it more like a guard with passing instincts and the athleticism to get to the rim consistently. Does a great job using his length around the rim to score or alter shots on defense

2026 Carter Newsome (6’0 G) – smart lead guard for Waukegan is also a four-year varsity player. Plays with a chip on his shoulder and can really shoot it from three

West Aurora

2026 Drew Lundberg (6’4 G/F) – inside-out wing can play multiple spots. Attacks the rim well and can stretch the floor with time. Has the frame to battle down low when guarding bigs

2027 Travis Brown (6’0 G) – long-armed point guard is among the best floor generals in the junior class. Smooth and opportunistic ball-handler who can shoot, get to the rim, or stop on a dime to create space. Active defender who gets a lot of steals and tips

Wheaton Academy

2027 Hayden Schroeder (6’8 F) – the top frontcourt prospect in the class has tremendous upside as he continues to grow. Mobile, smart, athletic, and skilled as a face-up forward. Runs the floor hard and regularly takes bigs off the bounce. Checks a lot of boxes

2027 Jackson Snider (6’5 G) – taller guard is a very good defender who uses his length and anticipation well. Good shooter off the catch who is a sound passer with a projectable frame. Has a chance to be really good when he’s aggressive.

2028 Tyler Anderson (6’0 G) – physical, tough combo guard can heat up from the perimeter. Built to take contact and stay in front of the ball defensively. Bright future for Wheaton Academy

Whitney Young

2026 Marquis Clark (6’2 G) – one of the top guards in the entire state. Great pace, frame, and IQ to get to his spots and hit shots off the bounce. Doesn’t get sped up and can take what the defense gives him

2027 Zaire Green (6’3 G/F) – energetic wing will be an impact piece for the Dolphins. Attacks the rim well and is a tenacious defender who jumps passing lanes and stays in front of the ball. Ideal frame and athleticism as a two/three

York

2026 Hunter Stepanich (6’8 F) – a Princeton football and volleyball recruit. Will be one of the best bigs in the West Suburban this year. Huge frame and physical presence inside of 15 feet who is a force in at the bottom of their zone

2026 Ethan Iacob (6’3 F) – forward who had some great moments for the Dukes last year. Face-up threat who drives it hard, hits open threes, and battles for rebounds inside

Yorkville Christian

2026 Jayden Riley (6’0 G) – among the best playmakers in the state. Dynamic passer and ball-handler who can orchestrate offense but also create his own shot on command. Productive defender as well

2027 Tray Alford (5’10 G) – shot-making guard spaces the floor well and had a nice sophomore season. Deep range on his jumper with some feel as a driver

2027 Jordan Purvis (6’3 G) – three-point specialist who seemingly continues to get taller. Should be worth tracking as a spacer

2028 Sean Drynan (6’6 F) – talented long-term forward has a high ceiling with his athleticism, face-up ability, and defensive impact

Yorkville High School

2028 Joey Jakstys (6’7 F) – the best four-man prospect in the class. Wing/forward is a special talent as a ball-handler, finisher, and shooter for his size. Will continue to get taller but already defends in space and at the rim with comfort hitting tough shots on the move.

2028 Braydon Porter (6’4 G) – among the more explosive athletes in the sophomore class with a skillset that is trending in the right direction. Scores in bulk on drives, stop-and-pop shots, and spot-ups. Can be a lockdown defender at times
