2025-2026 Team Preview: Grayslake North

Coaches can submit team previews throughout the fall.

Team Preview: Grayslake North

Three-year captain Uros Mitrovic headlines a younger Grayslake North team that has plenty of upside. Mitrovic (6-foot-4) is a returning all-conference and all-area player who is set to surpass 1,000 career points and break the three-point record this year. He is a force from multiple levels on the court and remains a target for several college coaches in the Midwest. Fellow seniors Maurice Jorden, a well-rounded wing, Nate Wilson, and Ethan Miller should all see elevated roles.

Their sophomore class is loaded, headlined by promising 6-foot-7 wing/forward Jared Van Donselaar. He saw varsity time a year ago and has a unique ability to stretch the floor at a high level, attack off the dribble or bring the ball up himself, and protect the rim. Look for him to emerge this year. Guard Will Foley will take over at lead guard after gaining some experience as a freshman. Eddie Johnson, another  6-foot-7 sophomore, had a solid summer and will bring length and some versatility in the front court. Angelo O’Connor is another 2028 who should make an impact for a team that will be playing its best basketball in 2026.

Prospects To Watch:

2026 Uros Mitrovic (6’4 F)

2028 Jared Van Donselaar (6’7 F)
